Our Story

Established in 1892, Welcome Hall Mission is the largest doorway to help for Montrealers in need. We offer programs that support people experiencing homelessness or food insecurity, as well as new Canadians, young single mothers, families, at-risk youth and seniors.  This includes preparing 7000 meals per week and providing 7000 Montrealers with free groceries.

Throughout our history, Welcome Hall Mission has adapted to meet the changing needs of Montreal and the people we serve. Today, thanks to the faithful support of our community partnerships and generous donors, we are continuing to grow as an innovative leader in social change.
