Under the supervision of the manager, the PLM supervisor ensures that PLM-MBA activities run smoothly, that customers receive quality service and that objectives are met. The PLM Supervisor ensures compliance with MBA and PLM management, guidelines and values. Supervises and organizes the work of PLM staff. In particular, he accompanies them in the performance of their duties, and plans and directs their clinical interventions. He or she acts as a resource person for the workers. He/she trains and supports the PLM team in their various tasks, and ensures that tasks are carried out according to established protocols and procedures. In particular, he provides support to stakeholders in monitoring their case load and ensures joint follow-up in complex cases. He works closely with the PLM work teams. He participates in the creation of PLM clinical tools and protocols. He also analyzes procedures and processes to ensure their relevance, effectiveness and efficiency. 

With the MBA HR department, he oversees the recruitment and performance evaluation of PLM-MBA staff. Handles customer complaints and requests from external partners. The supervisor generates and/or produces daily, weekly and monthly reports on the various operations and data required. The supervisor also performs any other related tasks or responsibilities arising from his/her role and in accordance with the needs of the organization.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensures that PLM activities are planned and organized in accordance with existing procedures and PLM-MBA values. Ensures that PLM-MBA's image and quality of service are maintained.
  • Continuously studies, analyzes and evaluates customer needs, and initiates and participates in reflection/development initiatives to meet these needs in a meaningful way.
  • Ensures prompt management of major events: crisis, fire, death, wandering, significant physical altercation involving participants or staff, etc.
  • Works in collaboration with the various PLM teams (clinical and housing)
  • Coordinates, assigns and plans the daily and weekly work of PLM-MBA workers and their participant visits.
  • Assesses the training needs of PLM-MBA workers and coordinates the training required for the team.
  • Ensures that participant files are properly kept. In particular, he/she ensures that intervention notes, action plans and participant information are duly entered in the SISA database, in accordance with the protocols and procedures in place.
  • Manages schedules (leave, absences) and various employee requests in connection with MBA coordination.
  • Various other related tasks

  • Polite, courteous and professional
  • A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Have obtained one of the following diplomas: College-level nursing care, specialized education, social work or delinquency intervention work, and /or University diploma in School Adaptation, Criminology, Psychoeducation, Psychology, Professional Orientation, Social Work, Sexology, Nursing or Drug Addiction
