About Us
Welcome Hall Mission is the city’s largest doorway to help for Montrealers in need. Whether someone is experiencing homelessness or otherwise living in precarity, we are here with the resources they need to get back on their feet. Hope and help pass through the same door. By growing a network of generous people and organizations, we are enabling long-term solutions so that when someone walks out our doors after receiving care and support, they have the tools needed for ongoing independence. When someone is experiencing homelessness, a safe, warm night of shelter at a Welcome Hall Mission location is just the beginning of a supported journey to permanent independence. It’s important to highlight that in the past year, 200 people who sheltered with us have also successfully transitioned from homelessness into permanent housing.

Something to smile about: How your kind support is helping people access quality dental care
For many Montrealers struggling with poverty or homelessness, seeing a dentist is nearly impossible. In order to bridge this gap, Welcome Hall Mission has partnered with McGill University to provide free dental care at the Jim Lund Dental Clinic.

We also operate PRISM, a short-term mental health unit dedicated to helping people find hope and a new life, while facing severe mental illness and chronic homelessness.
