Meal Service
Our 200-seat cafeteria is a welcoming space where beneficiaries experience the warmth and comfort of community. Every day, we serve and distribute over 1,200 nutritious meals to Montrealers in need across our shelter, transitional housing, and other support programs. During holidays such as Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we invite guests to join us for festive community meals that celebrate togetherness and joy.
Welcome Hall Mission Centralized Kitchen
Welcome Hall Mission’s Centralized Kitchen is a state-of-the-art, eco-responsible facility designed to produce up to 10,000 meals daily for vulnerable Montrealers. Beyond meal production, it provides hands-on culinary training for individuals in need, promoting employability while supporting sustainability through local sourcing, waste reduction, and energy-efficient operations. This hub of nourishment and skill-building reflects our commitment to healthy, equitable food access and meaningful opportunities for those we serve.
“I once stood in line as a homeless man, waiting for a meal. Today, thanks to Welcome Hall Mission, I’m the one serving it. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping people in need—I know exactly what it feels like to walk in their shoes.”- Serge
