A lack of access to health services is deeply connected to poverty and homelessness in ways that are often overlooked. At Welcome Hall Mission, we are committed to prevention, early intervention, and meeting people where they are. Through partnerships with McGill University and The Jewish General Hospital, we provide a range of essential health services designed to reduce barriers to care and address health disparities for individuals and families in need.
Jim Lund Dental Clinic
For many Montrealers experiencing poverty or homelessness, accessing dental care can feel nearly impossible. To help bridge this gap, Welcome Hall Mission has partnered with McGill University’s Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences to provide free dental care through the Jim Lund Dental Clinic. Established in 2012 and expanded in 2024, the clinic offers free dental examinations, procedures, and treatments in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring that individuals and families facing barriers to care can receive the oral health services they need with dignity and compassion.
